Announcing BOSS integration with OpenNet, which allows for automatic quotes retrieval, ordering and delivery management

What is OpenNet?
OpenNet provides a model of communication and IT platform for service providers and fiber network owners to collaborate. Basically, it allows service providers to make orders to the vendors, manage the orders and receive updates about the status of their order.
Process used to be manual
Systems usually rely on the project manager to keep track of the vendor delivery status and update it manually. Vendor delivery status is necessary, as that is a prerequisite for the further provisioning of the line. And before we even get to the vendor delivery, sales need to communicate with different vendors and collect quotes. A lot of this manual communication is prone to human error, and takes people’s time as well.

BOSS integrates with OpenNet, and fully automates quotes retrieval, ordering and delivery.
This means that BOSS automatically collects quotes on configured vendors for all addresses and products they serve. Sales can immediately get quotes, instead of waiting for days, and can immediately negotiate with the customer. Making an order to OpenNet marks it and the delivery of that order is automatically tracked and updated in the system, without human intervention. Orders to OpenNet can further be managed - such as making changes and upgrades, termination etc.
This automates a big part of the delivery of fibers, allowing sales and project managers to focus on other, more important stuff.
