Before BOSS
Cibicom A/S used to have a custom and manual process over several systems in order to move an offer to a delivery, and produce a task for the field service - which were comfortable and accustomed by using ServiceNow.
BOSS automated the business process
Cibicom A/S decided to use BOSS to streamline business and operations processes, but of course all processes could not be turned overnight. During the transition period, some departments had to continue with their traditional process.

Processes can easily be plugged into BOSS
The pluggable BOSS architecture enabled those traditional processes to just plug in. Project managers started doing the delivery in BOSS, while BOSS integrated with ServiceNow in the background and created tasks for the field service automatically.
This eliminated a lot of manual work, which is prone to errors as well.
Project managers were informed of the status of the task in BOSS, so they didn’t have to work in multiple systems.
